On the night of December 3, 2025, I stepped outside at 10:30 pm to get a look at the year’s last “super moon.” I took several pictures with my phone and got some decent ones. When I stepped back inside and looked at the five shots, there was this one. At first I thought this was just a blurry mess – I must have been moving my phone. But then I looked closer and saw them, the dogs. Yes, I am familiar with pareidolia, a phenomenon of seeing faces in random patterns. There are a lot of dog faces in this photo. Below are some that I’ve circled – friends have seen more. I’m also posting a clear photo of the moon, which is what I intended to photograph. Is it crazy to believe this was a portal into dog heaven? Think about it.
